Radio Kochi 90 FM is Kochi’s first Community Radio Station, licenced by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. Our vision is to be vital and vibrant service that amplifies the voice of the people of Kochi.

At Radio Kochi 90 FM, we endeavour to stand by you, to make your voices heard. The community radio station will be broadcasting a wide spectrum of programmes that will be informative as well as entertaining. The radio station is headquartered at St Teresa’s College, Ernakulam.

The role of Community Radio in development communication is undisputable as evident from United Nation’s UNESCO’s dedicated efforts to rope in community radio stations worldwide in an attempt to address multitude of socio-economical-educational-environmental issues across globe.

Truly considered the medium of the people, by the people and for the people, community radios have a significant role to play in communicating and furthering Sustainable Development Goals. The community media becomes more important during a crisis situation, like the one we are facing today following the outbreak of COVID-19.
